The Blue Blight
A downloadable game
Day 1:
We got back from hunting late in the evening. Some weird rabbits attacked us, they seemed rabid, and had some blueish, shiny crystals in their pelt...Alan got bitten on his ankle, but we quickly medicated it.
Day 3:
Alan's stuck in bed with a fever, poor soul. Guess I not only have to manage the food, but also act as a nurse to him...I hope he gets better soon.
Day 7:
His fever keeps getting worse, and he started acting strange, scratching and hitting me while I try to get close. I also noticed his tongue is losing its redness, turning blue. I'm starting to get worried, tomorrow I might try and get to the city to find a doctor.
Day 8:
They didn't let me in! They looked at me with a look of pity when I explained the urgency of the situation, and all they said is that there's a quarantine because of something called a "Blue Blight" - what even is that!? It was also incredibly creepy right outside the city, full of animal corpses with blue crystals all over their bodies. Guess I will go back to the cabin, hopefully Alan is feeling better.
Day 9:
As soon as I got back, he jumped on me and bit me, like some kind of animal! That idiot also smacked its head on the door frame, so he knocked himself out, but just in case I decided to restrain him to the bed. He scares me a bit now, I hear him gnawing his teeth, doing weird guttural noises, and his tongue is almost completely blue now. I pray I'll find a solution.
Day 12:
I woke up and when I checked on Alan, some blue, crystal-like formations were sprouting from his arms. I screamed in panic, ran outside; soon after, a couple people approached me. They called themselves "Researchers", and explained me that this Blue Blight I heard about is some kind of uncurable sickness that turns animals feral, growing blue crystals from their bones, and apparently the same happens on humans. I didn't tell them about Alan, I can't...I need to help him. Even though it itches like hell where he bit me.
Day 14:
Alan isn't getting better, and I have a fever too now. I went to the lake, and I noticed something cyan on my head. I'm hungry.
Day 15:
I'm sorry Alan
